You are being presented with a choice: evolve or remain. If you choose to remain unchanged, you will be presented with the same challenges, the same routine, the same storms, the same situations, until you learn from them, until you love yourself enough to say “no more”, until you choose change. If you choose to evolve, you will connect with the strength within you, you will explore what lies outside the comfort zone, you will awaken to love, you will become, you will be. You have everything you need. Choose to evolve. Choose love. – Craig Crippen
Are we born to be afraid? ⠀It took me a few minutes before I was finally ready to jump into the water as I had a few concerns - is it too cold, is it too shallow, are there any sharks in there ? 🦈 ⠀ ⠀ While some fears are built in and develop when our brain mature, and can actually protect us, others are learnt and created in our mind, very often they are not real and stop us from trying something new, making change or just don’t let’s us be ourselves and to live the life we deserve. A recent example of me being absolutely convinced that I can’t drive a car in Australia as I was afraid and so confused with driving on the other side of the road will be always a great reminder for me of how not to create limitations in my own head. I’m happily driving now 🚙 ⠀ “If everybody feels fear when approaching something totally new in life—yet so many are out there doing it despite the fear—then we must conclude that fear is not the problem. The real issue is not the fear, but how we hold the fear.” Susan Jeffers ⠀ P.S. When I finally jumped the water was absolutely blissful, so I wish for everyone to always have a courage to face their fears and not to let them stop you if you want to jump 🤗 ⠀ Please share your stories of overcoming fears if you have one 🙏
If we are what we eat, I wouldn’t mind to be this avocado toast 💚 ⠀ Even more delicious if you go for a swim before your lunch :) ⠀#theboathousepalmbeach ⠀ ⠀ Would be happy to hear any recommendations on cute places in Sydney with healthy options 💜
From my recent ig stories.. so many people related, so I thought it’s a good idea to put it here, just as a reminder that it’s not possible to be liked by everyone. Especially in our crazy world when there is so much stress, pressure and labels put on everything and everyone. I need this reminder very often myself, doesn’t take much for me to lose my confidence, well, work in progress.. Lets try to make this world better by being kinder to others and most importantly to ourselves 🙏 What makes you loose your confidence? My number one would be comparing myself to others 😣
Attention, this is not a yoga pose, this is what happens when you run out of ideas what to post on insta 🙈
The last one - Day 10 of #ExploreYourMudras - Prana Mudra in reverses warrior ✨ ⠀ Thank you, beautiful hosts 🙏 ⠀
After 2 hours ashtanga class and a few km run all I can do today is child’s pose ☺️with Kali Midra for Day 8 of #ExploreYourMudras ✨
Day 7 of #ExploreYourMudras My Padma Mudra in Tree pose variation ✨
Day 6 of #ExploreYourMudras My Ganesha Mudra in Mermaid ✨
Day 5 of #ExploreYourMudras Gyan Mudra always helps me in balancing poses, I chose side plank and dancer pose ✨
Day 4 of #ExploreYourMudras Dhyana Mudra, for me it is the most relaxing and calming one, it gives me a feeling that someone is holding my hand✨
Day 3 of #ExploreYourMudras Vayu Mudra ✨ Learnt more about this mudra from @stelasulzdorf : Vayu means “air” in Sanskrit. Therefore, this mudra takes care of the air element in our body and controls and regulates the movement of air within us. This will make for a healthier body in the long run. The Vayu hand mudra takes care of diseases and irregularities that can occur due to air imbalances. It is also connected to the Vata dosha, which is also associated with the air element. Any sufferers of stress, anxiety, pain in general, or breathing issues should try to use this mudra quite often during practice and meditation. 🌬💨. — Begin by placing the tip of the index finger at the base of your thumb. Now, gently pressurize the thumb upon your finger. This leads to the right amount of pressure for both the air and fire elements. The rest of the fingers should all remain straight, and it should be done with both hands simultaneously. 🌬
